The power eyebrow returns! Occasionally I ask myself what movie captures my ideal romance- Wild at Heart tops the charts. Plus the clothes are out of this world- most importantly Sailor’s snakeskin jacket as he proclaims: “This jacket is a symbol of my individuality and my belief in personal freedom.” The film is dirty and dangerous- with reference to The Wizard of Oz, incest, and Elvis. I just want to run away in a beat up old car and a very tight mini dress with my rebel lover who gets me “hotter than georgia asphalt”. This week at Madley we have tons of new arrivals that Peanut would have loved- spandex mini dresses, studded belts, lace bustiers, but no bike shorts- one 90’s revival trend I refuse to embrace.

no place like home.

Alexander Wang treats.

The original, the only. When I grew up, in a log cabin with no electricity- I knew that there was something more out there. Although I had no pop culture contact- I created wild outfits from scarves and rhinestones provided by my mother in a costume chest. One magical day, I found myself in a hotel room with television- I turned it on to discover Madonna doing her material girl thing. I stood with my nose glued to the screen and watched in wonder…. like many of us- and I pretty much never wanted to conceal my underwear beneath clothing again. All these years later, nothing has really changed. Yes eyebrows, yes lace corsets, bras, slips forever.

Chloe. You are so wild.

Old news is that Chloe- the very talented actress, has designed a collection of clothing for Opening Ceremony. I love love love it. And these shoes are truly divine.

Congratulations Luxury Jones! Check out her dress on last weeks episode of 90210!!!!
