I’ve been feeling incredibly nostalgic for my teenage years of late- maybe it’s the ubiquitous 90’s fashion revival- or maybe I’m succoming to good old american youth worship….. or maybe it’s the fact that every young lady who walks into Madley is dressed in my high school uniform. I’ve filled the store with floral babydoll dress- some from the legendary source of my 7th grade wardrobe, Contempo Casuals. Luckily not every element of the uniform has survived- scrunchies, lip liner, and oversized pants have been wisely shelved- along with square toed high heels. I know it’s pretty much old news- but I thrill to see these fresh faced beauties in riding boots and combat boots- winklepicker boots too- loving the things I loved all those years ago- it’s like seeing yourself thru someone else’s eyes.

Thanks Marc- love you.

Not really 90’s but so adorable….

Two delightful beauties wearing new Luxury Jones arrivals.

So it goes without saying, that Jordan Catallano will forever be the symbol of unrequited love for our generation. Watching My So Called Life takes me back- instantly- to twitterpated nights spent by the phone and intense embarrasment- only felt in those years. Was anything more important than getting his awkward attention?

While we’re on the subject of teen desire- have to mention Keanu in River’s Edge 1985, a film about teen murder reminiscent of Twin Peaks. Basically best style ever on the dudes. But check out Ioni Skye in that oversized cable knit- an interesting choice.

New Madley jewels.

Still crazy for Kate- and the beautiful collection she designed for Topshop.

So lovely corey
